In a very weird turn, initiatives to bring about an optimistic environmental adjustment are now being challenged. Marin County has made recurrent quests to generate a ban on plastic bags since the beginning of this year. A short while ago, the county revealed that the ban will finally take effect in January 2012. The Marin County policy is planning to restrict the utilization of throw away plastic bags in grocers, convenience stores in addition to pharmacies. An extra five cent charge is also required on throw away paper bags. In spite of the good aims of the county, it is contending with some resistance. Continue reading →
